「ホヌ」は、ハワイ語で海がめ。“Honu” is Hawaiian for sea turtle.
ハワイでは、ホヌは幸運を運ぶ海の守り神。この店の名前は、ハワイ出身のお客様が付けてくれたものです。
In Hawaii, the honu — the green sea turtle — is a guardian spirit that brings good luck. Our name was a gift from a customer who grew up there.
店内に流れるのはハワイアンミュージック。椅子は三席だけ。夫婦ふたりで、お一人おひとりの髪と頭皮に、ゆっくり向き合います。
